How to get there:

Generally the keys for all our apartments and holiday houses are handed over in the reception of La Fuente - unless otherwise agreed upon. If your holiday accommodation is not located in La Fuente itself we also provide detailed instructions about how to get there and what to do when settling in. One exception to this is the Pension La Cubana which has its own reception so that all its guests are checked in there.

• by taxi -

  Take a taxi at the front of the airport terminal to La Fuente (Pérez de Brito 49). All taxis charge by clock meter, the ride takes approx. 10 min and costs around 12,00 Euro.

• by bus -

  There is only one line serving the airport: (No. 8: Airport - Los Cancajos - Santa Cruz). During the week the bus runs every half hour (h:15 and h:45), Saturdays, Sundays and on bank holidays only once every hour (h:15). Get off the bus on the second stop in Santa Cruz ("Ex-Parador" on the Avenida Marítima) and keep walking along the seafront in the same direction until you get to the house no. 52. Behind it you will see a small pedestrian alley (20 mts long) and at the other end you will find La Fuente. The bus ride takes about 15 min and costs 1,10 Euro. The walk from the bus stop to La Fuente takes 5-10 min.

• by car -

  Once getting into Santa Cruz stay on the Avenida Marítima (seafront) and look for a parking space near house no. 52. Behind it you will see a small pedestrian alley (20 mts long) and at the other end you will find La Fuente. If you have lots of luggage, leave it in the car for the time being and ask at the reception if it is possible to drive directly to La Fuente.

• Upon your arrival by ferry there are usually a few taxis waiting for customers, even at night. However on certain dates (esp. around weekends and bank holidays) they are immediately taken. This is why you should try to leave the boat ahead of the others. The night rate for the ride is approx. 5 Euro.
  If you want to walk, you have to keep to the right upon leaving the port area. Then continue along the seafront until you get to the house no. 52. Behind it you will see a small pedestrian alley (20 mts long) and at the other end you will find La Fuente.
  When arriving by boat you will probably not find a car rental open at that time. This is why you have to book your car in advance. However the car rentals usually charge approx. 15 Euro to meet you at the port at night-time. This is why, as a rule, we recommend that you come to La Fuente by taxi or on foot and have the car delivered there the next morning.
